When it comes to the storage space on our PC, we always try to optimize as much as we can for its faster operation. We already know that the operating system is one of the largest consumers of space once installed on our system. Nor is the Windows 10 operating system an exception
Which needs no less than 16 GB for the 32-bit version and 20 GB for the 64-bit version
This should not be a problem if you have a 1 TB or larger HDD but it can be frustrating if you use a 128 GB or even 240 GB SSD. The use of SSDs is becoming more and more suitable for optimal functioning. Aware of the busy space, Microsoft is also helping us try to change this aspect (perhaps to attract more users and likes) so we can see that Windows 10 already has some features and tools that can improve disk space savings. In case of the 스포츠토토 this is important now.
Here are some of the most useful tools, such as:
Storage Sense is a special tool dedicated to cleaning up storage space by deleting files that we no longer use or need, removing temporary files, emptying the Recycle Bin. It can be done automatically by Windows 10 on a monthly basis or can be set manually and thus free up space when you want. Activating or deactivating this tool is done as follows: opens the Settings application where we access System > Storage and finally Storage Sense.
Compact OS tool that reduces the size of the operating system by compressing system files and applications in the Windows Store
At startup it will take a few minutes to compress the data but you can save up to 7 GB of space. If you have a lot of space on your computer, you should not use this tool, as it is more suitable for 16 GB, 32 GB hard drives, i.e. those with very small capacities. It is important to know that activating this tool eliminates the recovery partition that occupies around 4 GB.
NTFS Compression – with this method you can simply selectively compress individual files and folders, and you can still use them normally. It saves you space but will increase the CPU usage level because when you access the files, they need to be uncompressed. If you have a good and fast processor, then you will not notice any difference in the usability. It is best to use NTFS Compression for files that are rarely used or accessed. Please note: Do not use this method for audio, video, or compress data on the system partition. It works very simply: right-click the selected folder, go to Properties > Advanced and Compress contents to save disk space.
External application storage
Windows 10 offers the ability to store applications in the Windows Store and audio / video files on external devices, including USB drives, SD cards. To use this method go to Settings > System > Storage > More storage settings and click Change where new content is saved and select the device on which you want the file to be saved.
